Disunited Nations (2025)

The year 2025 marks a bitter milestone for the United Nations. Instead of celebrating its 80th anniversary as a success, the world organization faces an existential declaration of bankruptcy for international law. The unresolved Middle East conflict – historically the UN's "ongoing task" – has become, at the latest with the events in Gaza, a symbol of its failure.
